Frequently asked questions
The Leasing Resources Centre serves as a comprehensive resource hub designed to help school leaders navigate the complexities of procurement. We provide free e-guides, infographics, and articles covering everything from money-saving tips and using leasing to tackle inflation, to detailed breakdowns of compliant leasing structures, ensuring you have the knowledge to make informed financial decisions.
While saving capital is a traditional approach, high inflation can erode the purchasing power of your budget. Leasing provides an inflation hedge by allowing you to acquire the asset immediately at its current market value. This ensures your students benefit from the equipment now, while your school preserves school capital over time with fixed, predictable payments that do not increase as equipment costs rise.
This is a common myth. While IT is a popular choice, we fund a vast range of non-IT assets to support every area of school life. We help schools secure everything from playground installations and modular buildings to catering equipment and LED lighting. If an asset is for educational or operational use, the chances are we can provide a compliant funding solution for it.
We offer a bespoke Pay Later solution specifically for schools in this position. Our Leasing Resources Centre provides information on how this plan allows you to install and use essential equipment immediately while deferring the first payment until your new budget arrives, ensuring that teaching and learning are not put on hold due to administrative timing.
We have created dedicated infographics and guides specifically to address and debunk the common misconceptions of school leasing. These resources are designed to provide clarity on compliance, costs, and the leasing process, helping to remove the "minefield" often associated with school finance and providing a clear path to successful equipment acquisition.
